Senior Staff...  LARRY ALDRICH, president, began his career in public relations with the United States
Air Force in 1968, transitioning from a journalism career as staff writer
and columnist with a daily newspaper in New Jersey.Before founding Aldrich & Associates, Larry was vice president and Western Region manager of Ayer Public Relations, a subsidiary of the nation's oldest advertising agency. He also sat on the Western Region Board of Directors for the parent firm, N W Ayer. Before joining Ayer, Larry was a vice president for Hill & Knowlton, the world's largest public relations/public affairs agency, and he was public relations director for California Federal Savings, the nation's fourth largest S&L. Larry holds a bachelor's degree in communications from California State University, Dominguez Hills. He is very active as an adult volunteer with the competitive drum & bugle corps activity. He founded the Marketing Advisory Committee, a group of professionals throughout the U. S. who advise Drum Corps International and the Summer Music Games. He also became the first civilian (non-corps director) to be elected to the DCI Board of Directors and Executive Committee. Larry was a City Commissioner and board member of the Long Beach Housing Development Company, and a member of the Mayor's Year 2000 Strategic Planning Task Force. He was Chairman of the Board of Governors of LA STAGE ALLIANCE , executive producer of the Ovation Awards, and recently served on the Board of Directors of The Blue Devils of Concord, California. He is listed in WHO'S WHO IN AMERICA, CALIFORNIA, THE WEST, THE WORLD, and WHO'S WHO INTERNATIONAL.

Sandy Smith, partner and office manager, has been with Aldrich &
Associates since 1985. In addition to her
office manager duties, she is the account executive on the Temcor account.
Previous to Aldrich & Associates, Sandy worked for E.F. Hutton as
an office supervisor. Sandy's interests are gardening, skiing, concerts
and movies. She has served on the Operations Committee and Board of
Directors for AIDS Walk Long Beach and is a certified tutor for the
Long Beach adult literacy program.
