JAN-AL TO LAUNCH RACKMOUNT CITY,

INTERNET'S FIRST ONE-STOP SHOP FOR

RACK DESIGNERS AND BUILDERS

LOS ANGELES, October 18, 2006 -- Jan-Al Cases will launch RackmountCity.com in the first quarter of 2007, providing engineers and rack-mounting professionals with a complete one-stop source for specifications, reference information, and point of purchase for racks, rack cases and rack accessories, whether for the road or permanent installation.

Jan-Al President, Muffie Alejandro, who has been preparing Rackmount City for nearly four years, said, "we previewed the web site at the recent Audio Engineering Society Show in San Francisco and the response was overwhelmingly positive, from manufacturers, professional audio engineers and technicians alike."

RackmountCity.com is the only site world-wide to offer users the ability to design racks by integrating product information and electronics manufacturers specifications on a searchable database. Rackmount City will be applications oriented. Reference materials, standard glossaries and constant updating of leading edge products will offer electronics designers and rack builders as well as the novice around-the-clock access to everything they need to speed the design/build process. Live help will also be available during normal business hours.

Rackmount City will include extensive guidelines and "how to's," glossaries, and, according to Alejandro, "explanations that standardize language across products, brands and rack mounting experiences."

Rackmount City will initially be aimed at the audio and music industries. "Any industry that will be involved in data information delivery will find Rackmount City extremely useful," said Alejandro.

Brands scheduled to participate during the initial launch are Middle Atlantic Products, Monster Cable Products, Pelican Cases, Penn-Elcom, SKB Cases, Zaolla Silverline Cable and Rackmount City's parent company, Jan-Al Cases.

Jan-Al Cases is a leading designer and manufacturer of rugged and durable, reusable shipping containers, racks and specialized containers for the professional audio and video, computer, music, healthcare, aviation, entertainment touring and sports markets.

"We make cases and design re-usable packaging for nearly every industry," says Alejandro. "We assist clients in applying best practices for building complex designs at commercial prices; Jan-Al is all about helping the customer uncover priorities and then meet those needs cost-effectively."
