LA STAGE ALLIANCE HALF-PRICE TICKETING PROGRAM HAS SOLD MORE THAN $1.75 MILLION IN TICKETS

 

LOS ANGELES, June 26, 2006 Ð LAStageTix, the half-price ticketing program of LA Stage Alliance, has racked up more than $1.75 million in ticket sales and related charges since its inception on the World Wide Web in early 2000. The program offers half-price tickets and the most complete listing of stage events throughout Southern California.

The program has saved patrons more than $1.5 million and returned nearly the same amount to member theatres.

Operating around the clock at www.lastagetix.com, LAStageTix offerings include productions at large stages, intimate stages, comedy clubs and dinner theatres located throughout the Southland, from Santa Monica to Pasadena and Riverside, from Long Beach to Santa Clarita. The service also offers a free weekly newsletter/alert to subscribers.

 

LA Stage Alliance is a non-profit association and service organization dedicated to building awareness, appreciation and support for the performing arts in greater Los Angeles.
