BARK! OPENS THANKSGIVING WEEKEND IN PALM SPRINGS

at the Annenberg Theatre, Two Days Only, November 24, 25

PALM SPRINGS, CA, October 31, 2006 -- "Bark!" the long-running hit musical which recently played to sold-out audiences in Hollywood, will open in Palm Springs for four performances only on Thanksgiving weekend at the Annenberg Theatre, 101 North Museum Drive. "Bark!" plays November 24 and 25 at 2:00 and 8:00 p.m.

"Bark!" opened at the Coast Playhouse in West Hollywood in September 2004. The show became the third longest running theatrical event in Los Angeles, playing 409 performances in 100 weeks. It also ran for nearly a year in Chicago and will soon play in Portland, Oregon, Memphis, Tennessee and New York City. "Bark!" is about man's best friend, told and sung from the dog's point of view. Acclaimed director/choreographer Kay Cole guides the talented ensemble cast through the funny, fast-paced and poignant show with music by David Troy Francis and lyrics by Gavin Geoffrey Dillard, Robert Schrock, Jonathan Heath, Danny Lukic and Mark Winkler. Francis is also musical director. Cast includes Ginny McMath, Mindy Reid, Jamey Schrick, Adam Simmons, Joe Souza, and Karen Volpe.
