BARK! EXTENDED FOR A LUCKY 13^th TIME!

Now at the Coast Playhouse Through May 14

 

LOS ANGELES, March XX, 2006 – Thirteen proves to be a lucky number as “Bark!” the world premiere hit musical, extends its stay at the Coast Playhouse for the 13^th time. “Bark!” will play there through May 14. Since opening in September 2004, the critically acclaimed show has continued to play to sell-out audiences. A second production, in Chicago, has been enjoying an equally successful run since last October. Productions are now being planned for Memphis, Portland, Oregon and New York City.

 

“Bark!” is about man’s best friend, told and sung from the dog’s point of view. Acclaimed director/choreographer Kay Cole guides the talented ensemble cast through the funny, fast-paced and poignant show with music by David Troy Francis and lyrics by Gavin Geoffrey Dillard, Robert Schrock, Jonathan Heath, Danny Lukic and Mark Winkler. Francis is also musical director.
